Día de los Muertos at Yip Cider
At Yip Cider, we’re honouring Día de los Muertos with our limited-edition Reposado Cider—an exciting collaboration with the Day of the Dead Festival. Aged for six months in tequila barrels, this cider has softened and acquired the tequila essence, creating a unique taste that bridges two cultures. To carry the celebration beyond the glass, we’re hosting two special events: a kids’ (aged 5-11) Neon Painting Workshop, and a Mexican Market & Immersive Experience filled with colour, dance, and tradition. Together, it’s a chance to sip, celebrate, and experience the vibrant spirit of Día de los Muertos at our Taproom.
Día de los Muertos Saint John
Following our Mexican Market & Immersive Experience, Día de los Muertos Atlantic Canada continues the festivities with an unforgettable night in the heart of Uptown. Rooted in the traditions of Mexico, this festival is a joyful tribute to life, art, and culture while honouring the memory of those who came before.
Step into a world of colour and creativity with live performances, traditional dance, vibrant costumes, and symbolic art that bring this cherished tradition to life. Beyond its cultural roots, the event is a welcoming space built on diversity and inclusion, inviting everyone to share in the experience.
Whether discovering Día de los Muertos for the first time or returning to celebrate again, guests can look forward to a moving and inspiring celebration of community. For one special evening, Uptown Saint John will be transformed into a place of remembrance, connection, and joy — adding a brilliant new layer to the city’s cultural vibrancy.
